Regulation approved on 14/03/2023
In developing the thesis, the student is guided by a supervisor. The choice of supervisor depends not only on the student’s interest in the thesis subject, but also on a relationship of mutual respect and trust that enables the best possible progress of the work.
Students usually identify—through informal conversations—a faculty member willing to assign and supervise the thesis work. Alternatively, they may ask the Degree Programme Coordinator to appoint an official supervisor.
The supervisor is typically a faculty member whose scientific-disciplinary sector (SSD) is included in the student’s Study Plan; alternatively, it may be a faculty member who offers (or whose SSD offers) a course within the Degree Programme.
The required commitment must be commensurate with the number of credits assigned. It is advisable to contact the chosen faculty member well in advance (at least 9 months before the expected graduation date) to agree on the start date of the activities.
Before starting the activities, the student must complete the form at the following link
