Provide the main notions about the behavior of the mechanical elements with particular reference to wear and lubrication mechanisms. It also provides information on monitoring and diagnostics of mechanical components.
Tables of contents:
Wear mechanisms. Surface topography study. Lubricants: Classification and their properties. Lubrication mechanisms. Mixtures of lubricating oils. Roller bearings and ball bearings: classification, properties, lubrication mode and their modeling. Tree-Bearing System Modeling. Diagnostic elements of mechanical components.
