Course objectives:
Provide knowledge and methods that are indispensable to address and solve the difficulties associated with the implementation and management of occupational safety and health. Develop analytical capabilities (risk identification), design (risk reduction or elimination work in a variety of business contexts), decision making (choice of appropriate preventative and protective interventions).

Tables of contents: 
Analysis of safety standards in production systems. Legislative Decree 81 / 08m. The main industrial risks: Definition of risk. Type and classification of industrial risks. Prevention and protection interventions. Risk assessment and acceptability criteria. Risk Analysis Methodologies: Establishing Risk Analysis in the Security Project. Methods of regulatory origin and systemic origin - dependability. Safety of Industrial Buildings. Accident risk: fire risk, electrical risk; The mechanical risk and the Machinery Directive. Hygienic-environmental hazards: biological risks, chemical hazards and the Emilia Romagna method (Mo.Va.RisCh). Physical risks: microclimate, enlightenment, noise risk and vibration risk. Cross-organizational risks: Workplace ergonomics and manual handling of loads. Corporate organization, communication, the role of information and training, psychosocial risks. The elaboration of the Hazard Assessment Document (DVR) according to the relevant legislation. Individual Protection Devices. Security Management Systems: Organization and Management Design Elements; The implementation of SGS; The planning and conducting of the security inspection; Security enhancement planning. About Mobile and Temporary Shipyards.
