Course objectives:
Give to the students a complete panorama of modern internal combustion engine behavior and development, with reference to automotive, marine, and energy production applications. Understand the methods for regulation and control of the powertrain, depending on the injected fuels, either traditional or alternative. Comprehendand assess the emission of noxious species, with emphasis on current normative for vehicle’s homologation and testing.
